Fibroblast Activation Protein—the Accomplice of Malignant Tumor

摘要: 成纤维细胞活化蛋白(fibroblast activation protein,FAP) 是一种丝氨酸蛋白酶,主要由活化的成纤维细胞分泌,广泛存在于上皮来源的恶性肿瘤中,与恶性肿瘤的侵袭和转移、血管形成、免疫逃逸等密切相关。综述FAP的结构和功能、在恶性肿瘤中的表达情况、与恶性肿瘤的关系及在恶性肿瘤诊断与治疗中的应用,并对FAP在肿瘤诊治中的应用前景进行展望。

Abstract: Fibroblast activation protein(FAP) is a kind of serine protease, mainly secreted by activated fibroblast, widely exist in epithelial tumors. The close relationship of FAP with the invasion, metastasis, angiogenesis and immune escape of tumors have been confirmed. This is a review about FAP of the structure and functions, the expression and mechanism of action in tumors, the application in diagnosis and treatment for tumors. At last, prospects for the usage of FAP in tumors.
