Abstract: Insulin-like/related peptides(ILPs)of invertebrate are homologous of vertebrate insulin. This article rewiewed the structure, expression, signalling pathway of ILPs. The functions of ILPs were also summarized in regulating growth, development, metabolism, reproduction and immunity.
