Abstract: In this research gene bar and EPSPS were transferred into sugarcane cultivar via agrobacterium-mediated method, and the transgenic sugarcane lines resistant to glufosinate-ammonium and glyphosphate were obtained. Directly spraying two herbicides at application concentration for field onto the field planting the transgenic sugarcane lines demonstrated the genetic stability of exogenous gene in generation T0, T1, ratoon 1, and 2 of them, and the lines had the stable herbicide-resistant ability. Therefore, the transgenic sugarcane lines resistant to herbicide can be widely used in the field production as the other transgenic herbicide-resistant crops such as corn, soybean, rape and cotton.
