Abstract: Salt stress is a major limiting factor in the process of plant growth and development, which can affect the process of plant organ development, morphogenesis, signal transduction, and so on. MicroRNA(miRNA)is a class of non-coding single stranded RNA about 19-25 nt long, and more and more studies have found that plant miRNAs play an important roles in salt resistance by participating in the regulation of plant seed germination, organ development, morphogenesis and active oxygen scavenging. In this paper, plant miRNAs,which respond to salt stress, are reviewed in order to provide references for the study of salt tolerance mechanism and molecular breeding of plant salt tolerance.
