Cloning of IGF-2 Gene cDNA in Tianzhu White Yak

Abstract: It was to clone insulin-like growth factor2(IGF-2)full length cDNA in Tianzhu white Yak, thus provide a theoretical basis tostudyits mechanisms. IGF-2 gene full length cDNA were cloned by rapid amplification of cDNA ends(RACE). The result showed that the full length of IGF-2 cDNA was 1 060 bp(Gene Bank accession No:KF682139), with an ORF 540 bp in length, which encoded 179 amino acids. The amino sequence analysis indicated that IGF-2 gene in Tianzhou white yak is highly homologous in most mammals. The full length cDNA of 1 060 bp IGF-2 gene was successfully cloned, which laid a basis for further studying of its roles in whit yak.
