摘要: 小分子非编码RNA(Small non-coding RNA, sncRNA)是一类20-30个左右核苷酸长度的RNAs, 不具有编码蛋白质的功能, 但在调控机制方面具有广泛的生物学功能。在动物精子形成过程中有两类sncRNAs, 即miRNAs和piRNAs起着重要调控作用, 它们在动物睾丸组织中表达异常会导致精子生成障碍从而表现出雄性不育性状。综合分析了sncRNA的结构、功能以及对雄性动物生育能力的影响, 以期为进一步研究sncRNA的调控机制提供参考。

Abstract: Small non-coding RNA(sncRNA)is a kind of RNA with 20-30 nucleotides, and does not have the function of encoding proteins, but has extensive biological functions in terms of regulatory mechanism. In the process of animal sperm formation there are two types of sncRNAs, namely miRNAs and piRNAs playing a critical regulatory role. When they are expressed abnormally in testicular tissues of animals, which causes the production of sperms in obstacle, so as male sterility would appear. In this paper, we summarize sncRNA’s structure and function, and effects on male fertility in order to offer the references for the further researches of the sncRNA regulatory mechanisms.
