Abstract: Constructed wetland is a sewage processing technology engineering developed rapidly since the late 1970s. It has the advantages of low investment, low running cost,low-level maintenance technology and low energy consumption. Currently,it has been used to process various types of waste-water. Constructed wetland is a composite system composed of matrix, plant, and microorganism,in which microorganisms play an important role in the process of waste-water purification. This paper introduces the research progress of microorganisms in the constructed wetland system from the diversity and function of microbial community, and further gives the research prospects in this field, aiming at providing information and reference for relevant researches in this field.
